Please Help Me with thiss?

well my friends friend went out with this girl who was actually getting closer to my friends friend who are no longer friends then my friend dates the girl and i chill with them sometimes then i realize that he doesn't really like her and i start to like her because we are so alike that its not even funny eventually they break up and she keeps talking to me. she says that we only talk because of venting purposes but could it be more than that? what should i do?
