Who's to say that god has not inspired a woman to give him her unborn child's soul? ?

Freedom of choice is god's will, they say. While I appreciate god's altruisum behind that philosophy, I don't get His hissy fits and insecure need to be worshipped. A modi of modesty would not be out of line here. If an unborn child has never appreciated, for example, Isaac Hayes, how could it possibly have any soul?
