How do New Yorkers REALLY drive?

I mentioned earlier that it took about 12 hours to get from here to NY, and my step dad said that we would be able to do that one day. But then I remembered hearing how crazy they drove, and got nervous. (Because he scares me driving as well lol and put two and two together...can't be a good thing)
