How do army Bonuses work.?

Ive been in the army for about 1 year and 9 months. I received my first installment of my bonus last june 2008. The bonus was for 20000 and i received 10000. My question is when do i receive my second installment of the bonus. I keep getting told diffrent things. Thank you for your help!
