What should I do? All advice is appreciated?

Okay, there is this guy. We were really good friends and since the start of the year he has been ignoring me and not talking to me etc. I really want to talk to him but i don't know what to say (problem 1) The only time we have talked about was like in May during a debate, well after, anyway a fewweeks ago, we had a nother debate and he hung around the room my team was in waiting for me,but i wasn't there. He still doesn't talk to me, what do I do. WE used to joke around and i had a bf but we broke up ( problem 2) could this be the reason? WE used to be the best of friends and I could tell him anything and everything. Now i don't have anyone i tell everything to and because of it I cry myself to sleep. What can I do? I really need help and soon, because I might be moving and i don't want him to hate me forever and I want to be able to talk to him as a friend again and I miss him and his smile and company. Please help!!!
