Inducing My labor?

I had asked my doctor last week to induce me because I was in so much pain. And he disagreed saying it wasnt a good idea because I could actually be 2 weeks behind since ultrasounds arent always right. I just found out that my husband is leaving on a buisness trip September 28 for a week and half. And my due date is suppose to be October 5th... I need him there more then anything and I dont want him to be away and I go in Labor... If I tell the doctor about this do you think theyd reconsider inducing..... Ill be 39 1/2 weeks the week hes suppose to leave...
