How do you get over a crush on one of your best friends?

I have developed a huge crush on one of my best friends who happens to be in my fraternity. He knows this, he's not into me, and we openly communicate our feelings. Despite all this, I just can't get over him—it's not ual, I'm just insanely attracted to him, can't stop thinking about him, and when I'm with him, I just want to share a pionate kiss. Anyway, I don't want to ruin our friendship and I definitely can't just avoid or ignore him (not that I would want to do that), but everything I've tried has failed...
