I'm unemployed with a $20K Tax Lien I need help getting it released. It's preventing me from getting a JOB.?

I was in an installment agreement and I lost my job. When I contacted the IRS to let them know I could not afford the regular payments they filed a tax lien. I did not even recieve notice until after the lien was filed. I have been refused employment because of the lien and I do not have the money to pay it in full. What is the best route for someone in my situation to get this matter resolved. It will be impossible for me to pay them if I can not get a job. Can the lien be released due to ecomonic hardship?
